A notable gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human news euro 2024 rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
